Smoke Rings is a private event venue in Hazleton, PA built for bachelor parties, milestone birthdays, retirements, corporate buyouts, and the occasional wedding-eve cigar with the groomsmen. A 3,000 sq ft lounge, a walk-in humidor, an outdoor patio with a fire ring, and a bar that knows its scotch from its bourbon. We’ll handle the room. You handle the toast.

Spaces available

1. Whole-bar buyout

The full 3,000 sq ft venue, the walk-in humidor, the bar, the lounge, and the patio. The room is yours — every chair, every staff member — for the night. Best for groups of 50-75+ or events that want a closed-door feel.

2. The patio with fire pits

Our outdoor patio with a built-in fire ring is the most-requested space in the building. Heaters and the fire keep it open three seasons a year. Best for groups of 25+ who want their own outdoor space while the bar runs as usual inside.

3. Lounge area

Reserve a section of the leather lounge for your group. Best for smaller gatherings of 5-10 who want a designated space without a full buyout.

What’s included

• Cigar selection from the walk-in humidor. Choose a curated set in advance, or open a humidor tab so guests can pick their own — we’ll help match cigars to skill level and palate.
• Bar packages. Open bar, drink-ticket, hosted-then-cash, or consumption — whatever fits the budget. Premium scotch and bourbon flights are a popular add-on.
• Dedicated bartender and host. Your group gets staff who know what you’re running so guests aren’t fending for themselves.
• AV. Sound system, microphone for toasts, and TVs available for slideshows or sports.
• food options. Several party packages are available in conjunction with Capriotti’s Catering.

How to book

1. Tell us the date, the headcount, and the occasion.
2. We’ll send a quote within one business day, including bar package options and a deposit estimate.
3. A signed agreement and deposit hold the date.
4. We finalize the cigar selection and final headcount one week out.
5. You show up, we run the night, you go home with great photos and zero cleanup.

Frequently asked questions

How far in advance should I book?

Six to eight weeks is ideal for buyouts; lounge reservations can sometimes be done with two weeks’ notice. October through New Year’s books out fastest.

What’s the deposit and cancellation policy?

There is 25% deposit to hold the date; refundable up to 30 days out, half-refundable 14–30 days, non-refundable inside 14 days.

Is the patio open year-round?

The fire ring and heaters keep it comfortable spring through fall and into mild winter nights. We’ll be honest about the forecast a week out and recommend an indoor backup if needed.

Do you host events under 21?

Smoke Rings is 21-and-over only — it’s the law for cigar bars in Pennsylvania, and we’re strict about it. All guests will be carded at the door.

Is indoor smoking allowed?

Yes. Smoke Rings is a licensed cigar bar under Pennsylvania’s Clean Indoor Air Act exemption — indoor cigar smoking is permitted. It’s why we exist.
